Following a grocery shop, Uncle Zombo’s favorite hot sauce is stolen by the Lake Monster, who, as a water-based monster soon realizes he probably shouldn’t have left to see what the fuss was all about!

Strange noises – and the occasional blast of fire - are coming from the Whispering Forest. But the Silvers don't know that yet because Elisabeth has the family taste-testing her chili for the Fogville Chili Cookoff. Unfortunately, it's not spicy enough. Leo inadvertently volunteers to find a super spicy pepper to provide some tasty heat. When a wise grocer tells the kids about the legendary Fuego Paino pepper, they know it's what they need, as long as they don't upset the pepper's equally legendary Pepper Guardian who lives in the Whispering Forest. The kids and Bat Pat go on a quest and find the pepper, but also discover the fire-breathing Pepper Dragon...with a bad case of fire-breathing hiccups. The helpful Silvers eventually cure the dragon's hiccups, but also put out his dragon's breath – he can no longer breathe fire. Getting the dragon his fire back is no easy task, until he tastes Elisabeth's award-winning, extra-spicy, red hot chili. Then his fire returns, hotter than ever.

Isamu is competing in a ping pong tournament when Baseball Zombie barges in and steals the ping pong ball! To save the tournament, Zo Zo must first beat the Baseball bully and his sidekick at their own game to retrieve the lost ball. Zo zo is honored that the town mayor has offered to build a new skate park, but first must take him to the barber for a new haircut. Zo Zo takes him to Barbershop Zombie who inevitably gives him a disastrous haircut, and Zo Zo attempts to save the day offering him a wig made of his own intestines.
