After getting beat again by Team Stax and gotten reprimanded by Lokar, the Imperiez decides to steal the Kairu in the monastery in order to impress Lokar. By spying on the monastery, they saw Baoddai taking the newly collected Kairu to the vault at night and heads there after Baoddai left. They drained as much Kairu as they could, becoming super charged and got a lot of new attacks. When exiting the vault, Boomer saw them and alerted the team. Wanting to drain more Kairu with Team Stax's X-Readers, they challenged Team Stax and won. They took Team Stax's X-Readers and went to the vault and found the Kairu pot from the alien vessel, attempting to take it. The beaten team Stax got Mookee to steal Ky's X-Reader back and Ky helped get Maya and Boomer's back as well. By making the Imperiez indecisive on which new attack to use, Team Stax won.

Instead they conjure up Witch Zombie whose spell accidentally creates Muscle Monster from Zo Zo’s muscles, leaving no one safe in the forest. Zo Zo becomes irritated after finding his entire snack machine at the mall missing, denying him of Choco-Donkeys. This causes the hangry Snowra to transform into a huge monster, and soon Zo Zo and his new friend Transfer Student Jay are running for their lives. Isamu is determined to out-prank master prankster, Uncle Zombo, but time after time the master schools the student. Finally, Isamu calls in expert: Snowman Zombie, who agrees to help Isamu and Zo Zo, but give them more than they bargained for.

When a wise grocer tells the kids about the legendary Fuego Paino pepper, they know it's what they need, as long as they don't upset the pepper's equally legendary Pepper Guardian who lives in the Whispering Forest. The kids and Bat Pat go on a quest and find the pepper, but also discover the fire-breathing Pepper Dragon...with a bad case of fire-breathing hiccups. The helpful Silvers eventually cure the dragon's hiccups, but also put out his dragon's breath – he can no longer breathe fire. Getting the dragon his fire back is no easy task, until he tastes Elisabeth's award-winning, extra-spicy, red hot chili. Then his fire returns, hotter than ever.

The defeated goblins promise to leave him be, allowing the Gingerbread Man to move back to the Whispering Forest where he can live in peace
