Ginger arrives with a bag full of coins, but the Landlord takes the money to make up for his rent hike, saying that his psychic has quit and he needs a new one. Hank discovers that Ginger has been stealing the coins from the town's wishing fountain, and warns Ginger of bad luck, which comes true. Meanwhile, Tom convinces Angela to become the Landlord's psychic, but soon she tires of always being called up by him, so she tries to convince the Landlord that he himself has psychic powers, only for him to find that Angela was trying to fool him into thinking so. The Landlord, however, makes two predictions in a fit of anger, both of which come true, and the Landlord is convinced that he is a psychic. Ginger gets the coins back and runs to return them, only to find that the fountain has been dug out for renovations.

Bat Pats jealous hijinx create comical confusion during the cooking competition and seemingly leads to disaster since he doesnt know anything about baking pies. But their team still manages to win first place with a blueberry pie-enchilada combination they call a pie-chilada.
